Ages ago my good friend Tyler Durden and I were discussing this (we do have a social life also (well he does)) and when this came up for 'Dreamcast' I couldn't for the life of me remember who we talked about as choices. Though after much deliberation, I got a whole de-ja-vu thing going on when I selected Bill Murray for Homer. Imagine Bill Murray just really being Bill Murray with a hint of his groundskeeper from 'Caddyshack'... Julia Roberts with her slender frame and prominent top lip is Marge.
Bart was a difficult one to do, there ain't that many convincing kid actors out there at the moment, Osment and 'Culkin the third' (I can't remember which one we're on now) aside, I'm going for 'Jerry Maguire' and 'Stuart Little' lit'lun Jonathan Lipniciki, in most of the roles he's had so far he already has the hair style for it and he doesn't have the annoyance factor of a Jake Lloyd for example...
My last two entries are on looks alone, but will still give, in my view, excellent performances, and I think it is important to have comedians playing these characters. Larry David is Mr Burns and stand up US comic, Rich Hall is definitely Mo, both with looks and attitude. Not many of you will really know who I'm talking about I think, but if you can find a picture or see him live you'll see my reasons.
